The original Challengers of the Abominable were a secret team formed in the post-World War II era to oppose Y.E.T.I.. From the mysterious Castle Abominable, their T.O.E.s (Tactical Operations Experts) fought bravely against the human-simian hybrids of Sasquatch Prime!
After that great battle ended, the team split up, members going their own ways. But in the '90s, Professor Prime-8, eighth clone of Sasquatch Prime, attempted to use the power of quantum fusion to take over the Looniverse and the Booniverse! Old heroes and new came together, to challenge the abominable once again, in their own series!
