History

Once, he was simply another Usenet poster, who frequently upset rec.arts.comics.misc readers by posting X-book-related material to that group (instead of rec.arts.comics.xbooks). Hounded for this, he turned to a life of crime!

A long-time member of the Brotherhood of Net.Villains, X-Intruder took part in The Employee-Empowered, Paradigm-Shifted, Individually-Owned, Downsized, Streamlined, Re-Invigorated Crimes of the Brotherhood of Net.Villains. He went after Vigilante Dude and the Sidekick Squad with RobGoblin, secretly planning to betray him, but never got around to it before Simon Devious paid them off so he could destroy Vigilante Guy instead.

He joined the East Coast Brotherhood of Net.Villains when they formed, but was one of the members who quit in frustration with its lack of direction.

By 2023, he had acquired the Powers of Hickman, and was working for hire, serving the plans of Hex Luthor.

Personality

Originally, like a bad, stereotyped copy of Wolverine. In the modern day, like a bad, stereotyped copy of Death from East of West.

Powers and Abilities

Originally, the power to make inappropriate X-Men related posts.

Somewhere along the line, he got upgraded powers, allowing him to make people think that they're trapped in a horrible dystopian alt.ernate reality where everybody's name has been reshaped into a '90s idea of badass. As the X-books changed, he gained the ability to channel the Powers of Hickman, making people think they're trapped in transhumanist deep time Golden Age SF scenarios instead.

Appearance

Originally, wore a wildly excessive 90s costume full of pouches, shoulder pads, and whatever that head sock thing that Gambit and Jim Lee Cyclops have is called. Nowadays, looks like the pale-skinned stranger that appears in every Jonathan Hickman book. Either way, smokes cigars.
