History

I was born like this, I had no choice
I was born with the gift of a golden voice...

The Gravelly-Voiced God is a Net.God[1] who embodies the creative influence of Leonard Cohen. He sits on the throne of the Tower of Song. Respected throughout the Looniverse, he is one of the few powers who can sway the decision-making of the Intergalactic Union of Good-Guys Opposed to Non-Good-Guys.

Kid Quickly-Irritated-By-Others and Lunchbox Lass came to the Tower of Song to petition his aid, but found his throne had been usurped by an Idolon of Britney Spears.[2] They found him locked up in the dungeon, and he sent them out to seek the one who'd take his place: the Heir to Musical Integrity! Kid Quickly-Irritated-By-Others ended up freeing the Heir[3] through the power of a personal epiphany and all was set right. Until the future version of Doctor Willy came back, anyway, but that's outside the scope of this entry.
