Due to the semi-anonymous nature of the Internet, it's easy for arguments to get intense. A flamewar is a heated online argument, whose fiery vortex often sucks bystanders into the fight.
In the LNH, flamewars are associated with the Net.element of Flame. On Earth-20, the civilization of Antikythera was destroyed by an ancient flamewar, whose power produced the Flamebroiled Force and the Ifrits.
