The Loonited States of Ame.rec.a (also known as the Usenetted States of Ame.rec.a; see Net.names) is a country on the Looniearth. It certainly thinks a lot of itself.
It is the country that Net.ropolis usually exists as a part of, and thus, the one that contains the majority of the LNH's adventures.
Its capital is Washington.gov (not to be confused with the state of Washingto.net). States within the nation include:

- Net.York
- Oh.I/O
- Washingto.net (not to be confused with the city of Washington.gov)

Presidential administrations include:
- William Howard Taft, 1909-1913.
- Richard Nixon, 1969-1974. Dark wizard who commanded the gods of the underworld. Executed for high treason as an agent of SCHMUCK.
- Gerald Ford, 1974-1977.
- Hexadecimal Luthor, 2001-2008. See also President Evil.
- Hex Luthor's as-yet-unnamed Vice President, who was President for a brief time between Hex becoming a convicted criminal and the next election.
- Barracks Boatman, with Vice President Haiku Gorilla, 2009-2017.
- Secret Presidency, due to the Mandatory Spell-Checking Law: Barack Obama, with vice-president Grammer Lad.
- Bad Judgment Boy, 2017-present.
Notable laws include:
- During the Beige Midnight crisis, both same-gender marriage and plural marriage were legalized, on the grounds that the world was about to end anyway.
