History
A seemingly normal gorilla college student at 'Boontown University, Magilla O'Reilly joined the college's Campus Crusade for Net.thulu and became interested in the secret arts of the occult. Travelling the world, he eventually became a servant of the Lords of Anarky.
He appeared on the scene as one of the Saviors of the Net, having joined for reasons which were repeatedly retconned. He was one of the first Saviors to discover the truth about Doctor Net.ropolis's plot to build the Mechanical Author, and decided to stop her.
After the battle with the Mechanical Author, he quit both the Saviors of the Net and the Lords of Anarky, although he would occasionally help some of the Saviors with their problems. During Beige Countdown and Beige Midnight, he helped Occultism Kid and the LNH Resistance with their battle against the HexFire Club. In Beige Midnight #3, he faked his death so that he could go undercover, with a plan to defeat Mister Nasty, who was posing as his dead friend, the Ultimate Savior. In Beige Midnight #4, he carried this plan out, destroying Mr. Nasty with poetic irony in the Savior's name, but Hex Luthor capriciously used the power of the Cosmic Plot Device to kill him.

Intelligent, often at least mildly cryptic. A devoted friend.
