Rebel Yell is a net.hero created by Todd "Scavenger" Kogutt. | |
Alter Ego: | Unknown |
Aliases: | None |
Primary Writer: | Todd Kogutt |
Status: | Former leader of the LNH (Classic Team) |
Usability: | Reserved |
History
Rebel Yell was one of the original members of the LNH. His seniority made him leader after Marvel Zombie Lad, Loquacious Lad, and Kid Yesterdaze had all left the group. He eventually established a tribunal leadership between himself, Continuity Champ, and Ultimate Ninja. Around the Two-and-a-Half Month Gap, Lurking Girl became his deputy leader and they developed a friendship with loads of early-90s-X-soap-opera romantic tension. This fell apart when Lurking Girl found out about having been replaced by Lurking Lass, which led her to leave the team. In time, he left the LNH to find Lurking Girl and has not been seen since.
Has occasionally been seen in the RACCCafe, complaining about his author not writing anymore.
Personality
Captain America meets Scott Summers-esque repressed leader type. Rants and raves. Angsts a lot, too.
Powers and Abilities
Ability to rant and rave about the portrayal of Southerners in comics. Wields dubloon shield, bolos, and several other weapons.
Appearance
Wears gray army fatigues with a lot of pockets and a Confederate flag on his chest. (The latter is something his creator would avoid putting in today.)
Relationships
Alt.version of Allusion Lad, List Lad, and Plot King.
Alternate-universe counterparts include Revelry Belle of the Oddballverse and the Southern Shouter of the Rosterverse.
